Data model. Data model. Data model. Data model....

Hey, by the way, how about a data model.... ;-)

We tried to get something unified off the ground in PA a while ago, but
nothing has come of it yet.  People everywhere are putting together their
own specialized apps, and there's nothing wrong with that.  But perhaps
all this could benefit from a data model and a standard set of domain
tables and values that folks could download. The real trick would be to
develop a real-world applicable model, not something so esoteric it's
useless.

Any other MIS professionals out there?
