Manduca rustica

I have a nice Large female M. rustica which I am trying to obtain ova
from with no success.  I have been feeding her hummingbird nectur every
night.  She has become quiet tame and will feed on her on accord.  I had
reared some wild larvae on privet two years ago (Not detailed as a food
plant in any publication I can find) so I through in a privet branch to
help stimulate the laying of eggs.  I also placed some fig branches in
with her.  I have no Jasmine.  Not sure want I'm doing wrong here?  If
anyone can help me I will split the ovae with them.
