Help Identify Caterpillars

Graham,

It sounds as if you have a moth larvae from the Pyralidae on your
nettles,
probably the Mother of Pearl, Pleuroptya (? may be misspelt) ruralis,
subfamily Pyraustinae). The note on the mobility gives the whole Family
away!
