Graham,

I have no experience of raising the two species you
mentioned, but their early stages are well known
in Japan.

Idea leuconoe
The larval food plants of Idea leuconoe in Japan
are the following two species. Both belong to
Apocynaceae.

APOCYNACEAE
Parsonia laevigata
Cynanchum caudatum

Kallima inachus
Two plants were recorded as the larval hostplants of
Kallima inachus here. They are Strobilianthes glandulifer
and Strobilianthes tashiroi. They accept S. origantha and
Hydrophia lancea when they are given.

ACANTHACEAE
Strobilianthes glandulifer
S. tashiroi
S. origantha *
Hydrophia lancea *

I hope this helps.

Cheers,
Kuni
