Embedding butterflies in resin usually leads to "silver" insects. Air trapped 
between the scales can not escape unless you embed the specimen under high 
vacuum. The same happens with hairy insects. Beetles are most suitable for 
embedding, especially chafers (Scarabaeidae), as are cockroaches. The latter 
however are not wanted by many people.
