It only rained twice last week; once for four days and once for three.
(Dunno what it's like now. Only Irish butterfly I've seen in the last
two years is a dingy skipper in a bed of flowers at the B&B where I
stayed between hospital and home. It was my first dingy skipper.
Modified rapture.)
In Mayo, in Mayo the rivers run uphill
through spongy heaps of sphagnum topped with heather.
And that's the place I'd be
with a wall brown on my knee
if they only didn't have such dreadful weather.
I understand that spring is expected next June or so, and I plan to be
there, d.v.
