Although there are many like ED Chesmore who voice skepticism about 
global warming, the real issue is global climatic change which involves 
warming some places, cooling other places and changes in rainfall 
regime.  Global warming was an unfortunate misnomer.  There's lots to 
learn and lots to improve about prediction, but that doesn't mean that 
one can dismiss the phenomenon of accelerated climatic changes or 
enhanced climatic fluctuation.
