To Mark Walker: Hemileuca lucina larva have been found in Brattleboro Vermont, don't think you'll find it to much further north. The larva were found on spiraea and reared to adults. I don't have any more info than that, you might try Jim Hedbor at JIM at hedbor.org for more info.
