Summer Internship/Research Assistship

The Nature Conservancy is looking to have an entomological inventory 
conducted on the top of Mount Everett in southwestern Massachusetts.  
Moths (blacklighting) will be primary focus, but the successful 
applicant must also collect and prepare Odonata, Coleoptera, and
ants.

Stipend money is available.  Lodging in a 3-bedroom house will 
be provided by TNC.  Sampling will begin in May and run through 
August.  The successful applicant must have a car to commute 
to and from the collecting site and the University of Connecticut; 
entomological course work or experience in preparing and identifying 
Lepidoptera is desirable.

The job will involve carrying a generator and a modest amount of 
hiking, but otherwise, the sky will be the limit (so to speak).  This
is wonderful country and a great summer opportunity.  Interested
