Gulf Fritillary

Roger:  One of the young Ky. Lepidopterists has larvae on his
_Passiflora_ which he planted in Versailles, KY.  I have never seen
anyone so excited.  I guess "If you plant it, they will come!" 
  Any of you other more northerly folks seeing gulf frits this summer? 
The season is very far ahead of normal.  Today I added _Panoquina ocola_
to the list for Harmon Den, Pisgah Nat. Forest, Haywood Co., KY and saw
just about everything expected there as well - except _Speyeria diana._
