Southern species are moving into the northeast, in particular into
Connecticut. This past weekend in Hamden, CT, two individuals of both
Little Yellow (Eurema lisa) and Cloudless Sulphur (Phoebis sennae) were
observed in the same yard. In this yard last week, an Ocola Skipper
(Panoquina ocola) was nectaring on Buddleia. Also, 4 additional E. lisa
were seen today (8/31/98) in Connecticut. Who knows what else might turn
up????
Happy searching.
