UK - late butterfly

A colleague of mine saw a Peacock (Inachis io) in a ride (track) here
in Monks Wood (National Nature Reserve) in Cambridgeshire today. The
butterfly was active and flew about in the ride before settling on the
ground. The weather was very mild (perhaps 12-13 0C) but was not sunny
at the time of the observation.
