Hi,
My name is Bernhard Theissen, I am studying biology and actually I am
working on my diploma-thesis. This refers to the habitat preference of
caterpillars. The main problem is to get literature with detailed
descriptions of the places caterpillars have been discovered.
If anybody of you knows a useful literature resource, I would be very
thankful.

On the other side I would also appreciate your personal experience in
the places of discovery. Not only the foodplant interests me, but also
the exposition, the structure of vegetation, the humidity of the soil,
the plant community (this would be the best, but also most difficault)
etc..
At the moment I am specially interested in the following species:

   * Eupithecia subfuscata
   * Operophtera brumata
   * Cabera exanthemata
   * Cabera pusaria
   * Chesias legatella
   * Isturgia limbaria
   * Pseudoterpna pruinata
   * Mythimna ferrago
   * Thymelicus lineola
   * Thumata senex

Thanks,
Bernhard
