Jim and Leppers-
I just talked with Tom Deecken, biologist with the Coronado National
Forest and he confirms that recreational collecting of invertebrates,
non-endangered species of course, will no longer require a permit,
although Tom would be interested in knowing what is being caught.
This does not apply to institutional collecting projects for university
or museum work which still needs to be officialy sanctioned with the
usual permits.
So have fun!!
