"artificial" larvae food mdium

Anyone know the whats in the "artificial larvae food medium" thats supplied
in the those kits for painted ladies? I have tried a few concoctions using
"blenderized" stinging nettle to which I have added a gelling medium. So far,
that has not worked. I am mainly interested in making a medium for red
admirals.
