Phaetostrymon alcestis in Cochise County, Arizona

A rather late but plentiful hatch of Soapberry Hairstreak (Phaetostrymon
alcestis) are patrolling the tops of  the Western Soapberry(Sapindus
saponaria) which are about to finally burst into bloom on our property
in Carr Canyon south of Sierra Vista, Arizona.
The unseasonably cool weather for June (the mid 70's) is probably to
blame.
