The Greater Wax Moth represents a familiar and persistent problem in hives
but how much is actually known of the physiology of this species and its
cousin the lesser Wax Moth. Specifically I would like to know if the
activity of the enzyme alkaline phosphatase is influenced by the stability
of the brush border membrane, more particularly if the enzymes activity is
infuenced by the disruption of the membrane itself. I'm familiar with the
paper of Shen et al. Does anyone know the answer?

Any infomation will be gratefully recieved.

Thanks
Mark Harries
