More migrants

Yesterday I wrote about Vanessa (cynthia) cardui in Trondheim, Norway. This
afternoon, 22. June, I observed a male Vanessa atalanta perching here in
Trondheim. So this species has followed the footsteps of V. cardui.

The specimen was in very good condition, not worn.

V. atalanta is a more regular migrant to the region than V. cardui. I see
it almost every year.
