Try the following: passionflower for the silver spotted fritillary (get
the common one with the deeply lobed leaves 5-7 fingers,) Butterfly weed
(asclepias tuberosa ) for the monarch, Anise for the anise swallowtail,
Hollyhocks for the vanessa, and pipevine(aristolochia) for the pipevine
swallowtail. Willow trees are good for the mourning cloak larva and
other species. Butterfly nectar sources include pincushion flower,
lantana, butterfly bush (buddleia) and annuals like zinnias, pentas and
