I am working on a book on the biology/ecology of the Sphingidae of the
U.S. and Canada. I hope to illustrate the last instar larvae of all of
the species in color photographs. At present I have photographed 91 of
the 101-103 species (depending upon your taxonomic bent). I am
requesting help in obtaining livestock of Manduca jasminearum from the
eastern United States and Hemaris senta from the Rocky Mountain region.
I am also interested in obtaining any information as to UNPUBLISHED
specific localities for Eumorpha intermedia along the Gulf Coast. All
livestock contributions will be acknowledged, and data contributions
will also be acknowledged where appropriate.
