Help with Melicta athalia / diamina ID

Hi,

I have several photographs of Melicta athalia / diamina take in
Switzerland last year. The photos are quite good (though I say so
myself :-)) but I am floundering with the identifications.

Most of the photos are upperside (unfortunately) so I can't see any
black marks in cells s1b & s2 (as mentioned in all the books).

So I suppose what I am really asking is - is there a way of
approximating an ID from a combination of the upperside pattern, the
time of year and location?
