Hi Andrea,
As far as I'm aware, there are no specifically entomological bookshops
in Australia, but there are several good natural history bookshops.
In Sydney: The Australian Museum has an excellent natural history
bookshop and is in the middle of the city. There is another natural
history specialist bookshop in Sydney, but I can't for the life of me
remember what it's called. Maybe someone else on the 'net will be
able to help you there.
The CSIRO has some good books, but it's probably much easier to order
through the internet rather than travelling to Canberra. You are
unlikely to get many savings by being there in person.
I have no idea about Adelaide.
Probably your best bet is to do an internet search.
Have fun in Australia. Don't forget warm clothing!
Cheers,
Tish
