Luna Moth

Saturday morning, May 16. A nice big female Luna waiting for me when I
arrived at work (Vergennes, VT). After disturbing her a bit (I wasn't going
to be able to contain her), she took off flying. Slow and awkward at first,
but then she flapped up and up, slowly disappearing from view like one big
green iridescent carnival balloon. Quite a sight. I've never watched one
fly in the daytime before.

Seems a bit early, though.
