I had a phone call last night to tell me that the Pearl-Bordered
Fritillary (Boloria euphrosyne) has finally emerged in the West
Country.

Three adults were seen on monday 18th May + 1 Marsh Fritillary too
(Eurodryas aurinia).

Personally I have yet to see either of these species this year, but
I have been clocking up several Red Admirals (Vanessa atalanta) over
the weekend. Fingers crossed for a good recording weekend this week :)
