Nice Catch! Owlet Moths of Ohio also lists pudding-pipe tree and
Pithecellobium spp.
if you do get ova and your stuck, you might try dandelion (or wild lettuce
maybe) if u can get it. my understanding is that many noctuidae will eat
dandelion in the lab and develop normally, although they dont eat it in the
wild.
