Have not heard about any use of old dried bodies as pheromone source.
Main problem: multi component pheormone blends.
Most species  do not use only one chemical but blends in certain
concentrations. Shift in concentration reduces attractivity enormously.
Even if there are some molecules left the release rate normally can not
be the same as in a living specimen and thus the molecules are
inefective in luring the opposite sex.
