Today is September 8th and I may have seen the last Monarch on the
prairies. Haven't seen any for three weeks prior, though I was seeing
one every few days before that.

We've had a strong south wind for the last few days - I'm hoping to come
across some P. sennae :)

Banner year for Angle wings - I've seen hordes of Polygonia satyrus,
progne, and gracilis feast on our crab apples. Also Nymphalis antiopa
and vau-album, though N. milberti is strangely absent.
