Does anyone out there know of a source of Monarch larvae. Every year my
Mother-in-law rears out a few for her school kids and releases them
during the fall migration. She would like to again do this but has not
been able to get any larvae.
Since a drought a few years back which greatly affected the milkweeds
locally numbers have been so low as to make collection difficult.
If you could send me some info I would pass it on to her.
I am in central NY, so monarchs will be passing through most of October
depending on weather. Larvae would be needed in the next two weeks to be
able to catch the migration window.
Thanx
