Miguel,
Both the mercury vapor and 'white' blacklight seem to produce the best results,
but you will find they attract in different ways. The MV lamps draws the best
from longer distances and has the most (generally) success, although the
insects stay agitated longer. They do not settle down, with specimens flying
to and from the sheets until late in the night as humidity rises. Blacklights
draw, but are obviously dimmer. However, the benefit is that the specimens
light and settle quickly. If you use both, setting one on each side of the
sheet...it works great. If you only use one, try MV, but sit close and be
prepared to secure specimens as they arrive.
Good luck!
