D. fagella

Over the Easter Weekend we have had over 40 (forty) D. fagella in our trap. The
spread between mellanic and light has been very even. Looking over past records
we seem to have an even distribution over all shades and varieties of this
moth.

It may also be of interest that the Orthosia gothica (Hebrew Character) this
year seem to be predominantly (80%) the rufous form. 

The Orthosia genus seem to be thriving in this mild weather. We have had our
first Panolis flammea (Pine Beauty) of the year.
