what are poisons for traps?

I use ethyl acetate. I hot glue a plastic bottle to the bottom of the
trap during construction. When ready to use, I fill this bottle with ethyl
acetate and put in a cotton wick that is as wide as the bottle opening. A
piece of fishing line can be tied to the top 1-2 cm of the wick so that
you can pull it up a few cm out of the bottle during use, yet does not
interfere with the bottle top threads.
Of note, hot gluing about half of a slightly larger bottle into which
you insert your bottle of ethyl acetate will allow removal for easier
refilling. Make sure your larger bottle is only slightly larger or moths
will fill in the gap!
Cheers!
