Hi John

Intrigued to see that there is a chequered skipper speciman in Leeds museum
labelled Bude. I can find no record of this spp for Cornwall in Frank Smiths
"Moths and Butterflies of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly" or in the New
ERICA database.  Any chance of further info
