Greetings Jim

As things are slow on the group - I will answer you here instead of in
private.

The Agrius cingulata record for BC is published in the Llywelyn-Jones, 1951
BC list - as a Robson, BC record for June. This was apparently based on
Foxlee's record for - ta ta - Robson in June (as Herse cingulata). (Foxlee,
Harold R. 1945 A Preliminary List of the Heterocera of the
Nelson-Robson-Trail District of British Columbia (Insecta:Lepidoptera).
Proc. of the Ent. Soc. BC Vol. 42, Dec. 8, 1945. p. 9. )

I am aware of no other records for western Canada (AB-BC-SK).

Incidentally, Doug Macaulay took a couple of Lapara bombycoides this summer
just north of Fort McMurray, AB - a first record for AB.

Happy Holidays to you - and everyone else reading along !
