I made the incorrect assumption that Pierre Plauzoles was talking about
collecting (which had come up on this thread) when he made his remark
about killing unknown insects. As far as simply squashing strange bugs
in one's yard goes, I totally agree with him. It's amusing (or disgusting)
how many people in Fairbanks run bug zappers all summer, without having the
faintest idea of what is or is not being killed.
