Questions about Noctua pronuba

Dear,

I captured this species at Quebec, Canada and I often observe it. I didn't
find any documentation on this species in North America. In fact, this
species is only mentioned in my European lepidoptera book...

Do exist a book that treat of this species in North America...?
Is this species holarctic or recently introduced ?
Which are the host plant both , the American and European species ?
Is our species pronuba or subspecies pronuba americana for example ?

Any help will be appreciated
