Hi,
I'm looking for someone to identify an adult pyralid moth that was
collected from a wetland in northern Ontario, Canada. The single specimen
(in 70% ethanol) was picked up during benthic sampling which also yielded
aquatic larvae which I tentatively ID'ed as Synclita sp. Now, I'm
interested to know if the adult had emerged from the wetland and belongs to
the larval forms or was it a terrestrial fly-in from outside the area. Any
help with the ID would be much appreciated.
Regards,
