California Anthocharis Question

I am interested in the frequently stated taxonomic treatment of 'reakirti'
as the first brood form of 'sara'.  I would welcome direct dialogue with
anyone who has evidence to support this treatment - has anyone ever reared
reakirti and watched it turn into sara ??? I have asked this question of
some knowledgeable butterfly people and so far there seems to be no
evidence.
