First migrant for the season

Hi Leps-netters

I did my observation for this season of the migrant Vanessa atalanta to day
10 June just outside Trondheim, Norway. The species has consequently
reached 63.5 degrees northern latitude in Norway. Only one single specimen
was seen flying towards northwest about 3 meters above ground. The weather
conditions are good for the moment: Winds from southeast, pretty warm. I
hope to observe more specimens later on.
