the reason i was asking about this species is that i wanted to do a
variation on silberglied & taylor's experiment with uv reflectance and
mate selectivity.

it seems common enough that i shouldn't worry about overcollecting and
its uv responsiveness seems to provide a failsafe fixed action
pattern.

if anybody has any suggestions for another species candidate, i'm all
ears and much obliged.
