Hi Everyone,

Here is a list of species to be added to the lists for Ny state that I found
in the Syracuse Herald-Journal: Wednesday, May 12, 1999, although it makes no
mention of species already on the endangered/threatened lists

(Lepidoptera)
To be added to the Endangered List:
Hessel's Hairstreak
Regal Fritillary
Persius Duskywing
Grizzled Skipper
Arogos Skipper
Bog Buckmoth
Pine Pinyon Moth

Species added to Threatened list:
Frosted Elfin

Species added to Special concern list:
Checkered white
Olympia marble
Henry's elfin
Tawny crescent
Mottled duskywing
Herodias Underwing
Jair Underwing
A noctuid moth (Hmmm, does anyone know which one???)

These only apply to New York state, so don't worry if you live in a state
where some of these are common.

Randy
