The DOW implant example is an excellent one, because the scientific
evidence very clearly states that women with implants have a slightly
LOWER risk of the various diseases that lawers have claimed are due to
implants.  As a result of the various legal cases, most new silion-based
medical devices never make it to the market, devices which are safe and
will save lifes.

As far as tampering with nature, humans have genetically alterned platns
and animals over the last 5000 years.  Eseentailly everythign you eat and
all natural fibers you wear are the result of organisms that have been
genetically modified by humans.

Just some random food for thought.  Only two more days until we can get
out for some weekend butterflying and stop thinking about BT
