Hi Sandy
I always like a challenge - no matter how inadequate my identification
skills! :-) Just a little observation, could you give us the dates
these photos were taken?
Anyway:
1. How about 'Garden Pebble' (Evergestis firficalis, Pyralidae)? It is
certainly a Pyralid but I can't make out the pattern very well from
the photo.
2. ??? - Yuk - a Geometrid of some sort but I haven't seen one like
this :-( It is going to be a light form of somethng dark or a dark
form of something light! :-)
3. Nasty one but try 'Six-striped Rustic' (Xestia sexstrigata)
4. Tortricidae - arrrrggghhhh!!!!!
See yah!
Chris R.
