Here we go again. I have taken A. cingulata here in New England, but only
rarely. My first was taken on Aug 16, 1976 at Keene, New Hampshire in the White
Mountains. I captured another on Oct 2, 1983 in Boxford, Massachusetts and then
a third on Aug 29, 1996, also in Boxford, Mass. I did find many of these in the
Bahamas on a recent trip there. A. cingulata is most common in the tropics but
does stray far from its range, even seen far at sea.
