Wainscot explosion

[Nick Greatorex-Davies]

Numbers of Common Wainscot (Mythimna pallens) are certainly high - I
have had over 200 in a night recently at my garden MV trap in
Cambridgeshire UK. However I remember that numbers were high two years
ago as well.
