Absolutely!

I would suggest that we all pay close attention to Mark Berman's remarks on the subject of 
b-fly releases, natural selection and population genetics.   We all need to brush up on 
our quantitative genetics before we evoke natural selection in defense of our respective activities.

I recommend Principles of Population Genetics, 2nd ed.  Daniel L. Hartl and Andrew G. Glark
