Eastern Hemileuca explosion

Thought James Kruse would like to hear this:

While visiting New England this week with my daughter, we stopped at a
utility line in the Concord, N.H. area for a short walk. We found Hemileuca
lucina to be very abundant (September 25). We counted over 50 in just about
an hour.

Not much else is flying up here. A few Tailed Blues, Clouded Sulphurs, and
an occasional Monarch (sounds like they're all down in New Jersey).

Shalom,

Mark Walker
