euplexia lucipara?

The noctuid moth Euplexia lucipara L. is shown in Holland's "The Moth Book"
(Plate XX) and described there as being throughout the United States.  But
the Hodges checklist does not have it.  Can anyone enlighten me on whether
it is found in North America?  It appears to be common in Europe.
