Hypagyrtis unipuncta?

I've found a specimen of Hypagyrtis that resembles closely the specimen
identified in Holland as Paraphia (the old generic name for Hypagyrtis)
unipuncta.  It does not resemble at all the specimens illustrated in Covell
or McGuffin.  as H. unipunctata.

Is H. unipuncta a valid species distinct from H. unipunctata?  It is clear
from the information I've seen that H. unipunctata is highly variable.
