Our next Field Trip will be on February 26 to Finger Rock Canyon in
Tucson. We will meet at the large parking lot on the southwest corner
of Ft. Lowell and Campbell at 8:00. Leader Doug Mullins will help us
search for Pima and Sara Orange-tips, Pearly Marbles, Xami Hairstreaks,
and Spring Azures. E-mail <hankb at theriver.com> for info.
Our beginners butterfly ID indoor workshop was so successful that we
will have another one on March 4, this time in the Children's Room of
the Tucson Main Library, 101 N Stone at 9:30 AM. Bring your field
guides and binoculars. This session we will work on nymphalids and
skippers. Shirley Sekarajasingham and Priscilla Brodkin will be the
instructors.
The public is welcome at all functions.
SEABA is Arizona's only chapter of the North American Butterfly
Association. Check out the website in the sig file below for more info.
