Neil's recommendations are exactly what I took to Cyprus a few years
back and they were very useful. The only problem was that Cyprus is
slightly out of the range of all of these books. A good example was
the Paphos Blue (G.paphos), which is apparently a Cypriot endemic, was
not in any of the books. This isn't a major problem but just keep it
in mind when identifyiing things.

Higgins & Riley is out of print but you might be able to get a copy
from a second-hand book dealer.
